Verification Program Terms

These Verification Program Terms govern the process of claiming and verifying a shop listing on Shop-Rate.com (“Website”), operated by Shop Rate Solutions LLC. They are part of, and incorporate, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of Verification

Verification is intended to confirm that the person managing a shop listing is authorized to represent that shop. Verified shop owners may access owner features, including the ability to respond to reviews under our Business Owner Response Policy.

2. Eligibility

To claim and verify a shop listing, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be the owner of the shop or an individual authorized to act on its behalf
• Provide accurate and complete information during verification
• Maintain an account in good standing

3. Verification Process

Listings and claims may be checked against publicly available business information and third-party business-lookup sources to confirm details such as the shop’s name and location. We may request additional information to confirm your authority to manage a listing. We may approve, deny, or revoke verification at our discretion.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain owner and verification features are offered through a paid subscription (for example, Shop-Rate Pro). Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically for the applicable billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. What Verification Does Not Do

Verification and any paid subscription do not allow a shop owner to:

• Alter, hide, reorder, or remove genuine reviews or ratings
• Influence how ratings are calculated
• Identify or contact anonymous reviewers
• Receive an endorsement from Shop Rate Solutions LLC

Verification confirms authority over a listing only. It is not a certification of a shop’s quality as an employer, and a verified badge is not an endorsement.

6. Accuracy and Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for all activity under your account. Submitting false information or claiming a shop you are not authorized to represent may result in removal of verification, account suspension, or termination, and may violate applicable law.

7. Suspension and Revocation

We may suspend or revoke verification and owner access if we believe information is inaccurate, verification was obtained improperly, or these Terms or our other policies have been violated.

8. Changes to This Program

We may modify or discontinue the Verification Program, or these Terms, at any time. Changes become effective when posted with an updated date above.
